In 2001 Stephan Trefzer completed his Sports Massage Therapist Certificate and is a member of International Council of Health, Fitness and Sports Therapists. (HSFT)

 

Stephan works as a Massage Therapist, and together with his long study and practice of Hatha Yoga this has also lead him to do general body work, posture alignment and rehabilitation work with clients as well as working as a Lead Back Pain, RSI and Ergonomics Consultant for the company Posture Group

Sports and Remedial Therapy can be a combination of both sports massage therapy and/or specific body work to work on body alignment in order to re-establish good posture and rehabilitate strained, tired muscles or joints.

Appointments will be unique depending on the injury, condition or your targets.

 

 

Sports & Remedial Therapy will help you treat:

• Muscle or joint pain caused from tight muscle or muscle-spasm caused by an injury, hard work-outs or practicing a lot of  Hatha Yoga.

• Tendonitis e.g. Tennis elbow, Rotator cuff or Achilles tendon pain.

• Pulled or strained muscles.

• Twisted or sprained ankles or knees.

• Back pain.

• Kyphosis, Rounded shoulders.

• Sciatica.

• Any sport or work related injuries.

 

This type of therapy has great benefit on Body, Mind & Spirit

 

On the Body:

• Improvements to the skin as old skin cells are removed through massage and nourished by the oils used.
