Yoga for Kids

Classes are held during Term times at the Integral Yoga Centre on Wednesday from 4-5pm. This class is for 6-12 year olds and the cost is £4.00 per class.

Hatha Vinyasa Mon & Thurs 8pm Class

Integral Yoga Vinyasa (sequence or flow) is a dynamic, challenging and energetic, but also explorative class with the use of background music. We will be using postures and breath to create a flowing movement which will help to create strength, flexibility and stamina and it will also highlight the stillness and peace permanently present in all of us. We'll also have fun practicing it :)

This class, which will be taught by Stephan, based on his own personal practice. 

 

 

** For events where overnight stays is needed we recommend the Brewery Farm House Bed and Breakfast which is only a 2 minute walk from our Yoga Centre **

Monthly Unlimited does not apply to pre-natal and Saturday 9.30am classes. Runs from the first of every month.

 

Information on Classes

\ Level 1 is for those who have no or some experience in the practice of Hatha Yoga. After a few classes as we become more familiar with the postures (asana) we start to experience the dynamics of alignment. As our awareness increases we learn to see the whole body's response to the postures and what we need to let go of in order to relax more deeply. Increased strength, balance and flexibility will be part of the experience.

\ Level 2 is designed for those who have been practicing Integral Yoga Hatha regularly. New and stronger postures (asana) are introduced and some postures will be held for longer. More focus is given to pranayama (breathing practice), chanting and meditation, the focus becomes more inward and the practice takes on a more meditative quality.

\ Level 3 is the advanced level and is suitable for experienced practitioners with a good knowledge of all the postures which takes their Hatha practice deeper.

\ Hatha Vinyasa is a dynamic, challenging and energetic, but also explorative class to create both strength and flexibility. It will also highlight the supreme stillness and peace permanently present in all of us.

\ Yoga for Kids Classes are held at the Integral Yoga Centre and also at local schools. One-2-One sessions are available for special needs children please contact us for details of prices.

\ One-2-One is available at the Integral Yoga Centre. Home visits are also available at £35/hour. There will be a supplement charged for location out side of Swindon.
